This coffee is a Red Bourbon bean from Mbuye. Rwandan coffee can be hit or miss as it is landlocked and it can be a challenge to get the beans out. Our roaster describes this as a "cracking lot."
This is a fully washed coffee - in spring water from Theresa's Spring. It is a lovely chocolatey coffee with wine like aromatics. It is perfect for a stovetop or espresso. but as we usually say - however you like it is the right way.
