Previously had an Avanti double-walled glass plunger - loved it for years, broke it. I figured I would miss the glass wall but I won't be going back. The steel plunger is admittedly easier to clean, durable and well-designed. The threaded components separate and it is easy to clean. All fits smoothly and snugly. Beautiful and functional.
A lovely little coffee pot .
It feels so good in my hands . I can't wait to use it.
My 30+ year old plunger might be able to go into retirement now.
