Provides steller sealing, but due to not having any slightly rounded inner edge, its reasonablly tricky to get it out for rinsing out underneath the upper metal half of the coffee maker.
I'd still order one again without hesitation, but id advise anyone to buy two at the same time so that if one get's damaged, that you’ll have a replacement on hand without having to wait for delivery of another one.
